General Job Description:

A key member of the operations team, the Assistant Manager will report to the General Manager and provide support in the success the restaurant. The Assistant Manager will oversee the daily operations of one of our restaurants, including the selection, development and performance management of the team members. In addition, they will also help to order inventory, food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their experience while visiting our restaurant. The Assistant Manager must embrace and exemplify our superior team culture, have a passion for hospitality and loves people and guest service. Duties will include:

·  Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant Operations
·  Review product quality and help to find solutions to concerns
·  Organize and supervise shifts
·  Provide areas of opportunity and resolution to the General Manager and Executive Chef
·  Must be Manager ServSafe certified
·  Will uphold all ServSafe guidelines
·  Ensure superior guest service in all areas. Respond efficiently and resolve complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
·  Ensure security procedures are being used to protect employees, guests and company assets
·  Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
·  Completes accident reports promptly if a guest or employee is injured
·  Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
·  Provide direction to employees regards operational and procedural issues
·  Assist in interviewing potential hourly team members.
·  Train new and current team members to ensure authentic hospitality to all guests
·  The ability to motivate our team with a positive atmosphere while still accomplishing the day to day operations
·  Assist in preparing schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts according to forecast
·  Provide strong presence in local community and high level of community involvement by restaurant and the team
·  Provide potential ways of reaching a broader audience to contribute to the building of sales

·  Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities
·  Ability to determine applicability of experience and qualifications of job applicants
